Not
everyone in Copenhagen has wheels: we present to you one of its slower
inhabitants, a resident of the Botanic Garden. Laid out in 1874, the
25-acre Botanisk Have features rare (we'll have to take their word for
it) trees, herbs and shrubs; several greenhouses; and the Palm House,
a refuge for tropical and sub-tropical plants undoubtedly disturbed
to find themselves in Denmark. The Geologisk Museum, the national rock
collection, has also staked out some territory. |
