Copenhagen's City Bikes. You won't see them in the Tour de France, but they have two wheels, and they're free (20kr. deposit), thus fulfilling two popular criteria for a bicycle. Obviously somebody thought long and hard how to make them theft-proof, and although we don't have any figures at hand, we're guessing they succeeded. Be that as it may, City Bikes are in heavy demand, and we have to assume that not everybody is riding one for a lark. |
